The lookup journal by id= endpoint allows a client to retrieve the metadata for a specific journal p= rovided they know the id number assigned to the journal within the Third Ir= on metadata database.
Email us at support@thirdiron.com to request your A= PI Key. The BrowZine API can only be used by institutions subscribing to th= e BrowZine Service.
Submit a GET request against this endpoint, filling in the appropriate p= ath segments with the id number of your library and with the id number of t= he journal that you are trying to retrieve, and your application will get a= response representing the journal. Responses contain some metadata about t= he journal, such as a display name for the journal and publication date. Re= sponses also contain links to API endpoints through which metadata resource= s related to the journal, such as the current issue of the journal or a lis= t of all issues of the journal, may be retrieved.
